The Architecture of Common Vision Blox

Common Vision Blox is an open architecture, hardware independent toolkit that supports both PC and embedded smart camera technology. Classical programming via compilers as well as modern programming via GUI can be applied with this powerful software platform.

  • The CVB Image Manager - the core of Common Vision Blox - provides fundamental functions such as image access and hardware drivers.
  • More than 30 CVB Tools are available to develop your application, such as Search and Read-, Barcode-, Measurement-, Surface Inspection Tools and many more.
  • Two main types of programming environment can be used: common high-level language compilers (for example Visual Basic, Visual C++, Borland Delphi and .Net-Environment including C#) or STEMMER IMAGINGĀ“s graphical user interface iTuition.
  • CVB can be used on two different technical platforms: Personal Computer or intelligent camera systems.
  • A variety of highly optimized drivers for most market leading frame grabbers and other hardware provide fast access to image data.
